Ditto

More of the same news after our appointments today:  everything is holding steady, ventricles at the same levels (fourth week in a row with no increase), no signs of labor.  All quite splendid.  It's hard to believe that this Thursday will mark eight weeks since the surgery; eight weeks from surgery to birth is about average for a MOMS baby.  She'll be 32 weeks along on Friday.  Today's ultrasound was more in-depth than our regular weekly ones; they did all of the measurements and estimate she's just a shade under 4 pounds now.  And we now have a tentative date set for her delivery, in the event that she beats the odds and stays put until 37 weeks:  they'll plan the c-section for October 16.

  1. Wahoo! Way to go little Kaitlyn--I'm so glad she's so happy in Mom's tummy for now. Congrats on making it this far! I hope you make it to that Oct. 16 date.

  3. Hi, fellow SB mom here. I just peaked in on your blog again and it sounds like things are going well. We'll keep your family in our prayers and keep our fingers crossed that all will go well on Oct. 16th!
I gathered from some of your lingo ("all 3 hours" at church and "ward") that you are LDS as well. It's so great to have that extra support group.
Take care and best of luck to your sweet family!

  6. Wonderful news! We are happy with the "holding steady" status, and are so pleased that Kaitlyn is content inside her mommie for now....let's get some more fat on her little body, and get her ready for a month from now! We love you all. Hugs from Virginia!
