Still on target

We got the same news yesterday as the two weeks prior: everything is holding steady, no increase in CSF, cervix closed, etc. We're quite pleased that our blog has been so boring lately; we trust y'all don't mind. It's now been about four weeks that Kaitlyn's ventricles have measured consistently at about 10 and 11 mm, which makes us positively giddy, more and more convinced that this surgery accomplished what we hoped.

Having Damon and Audrey here is such a morale boost. They do keep us very busy, much more so than at home given our tight living space (in addition to us and Mike, Shelly's sister Liz is visiting for a week as well), but it is well worth it, many times over.

  1. SUCH outstanding news! We are THRILLED with the boring post, that Kaitlyn is quite content to stay inside her mommy, and that her stats are holding steady. Also that Damon and Audrey are contentedly enjoying their surroundings in the happy shadows of their parents and aunt and uncle. Sounds like a barrel of monkeys up there. Wish we could join you, but....sounds like you are quite the can of sardines as it is. Enjoy! Have fun! Love you tons and oodles.

  4. So happy that there doesn't seem to be any hydro. No shunt would be awesome and no hydro even better. Do you know if the Chari has improved? I thought with the study of the animals, that it actually corrected?
